One-year benchmark: working with veterans
I served 56 Northern New Mexican veterans in nearly 350 appointments in my first year of practice with them. Calling it an honor doesn’t do my sentiments justice. Instead, I’m building on what I’ve learned.

Working with veterans is an honor
Working with veterans is an honor. And apparently, very rare. I hope to be training more therapists in my area soon so they can close the access gap in rural Northern New Mexico. Getting credentialed to provide massage therapy to veterans through the VA was the best decision I ever made.

Joining the faculty at UNM-Taos
I am so honored to have joined this faculty at the University of New Mexico-Taos (UNM-Taos) in the Integrative Massage Therapy program, two of whom were significant figures in my transition from my dance career to massage therapy. Thank you Susan and Tony! GO LOBOS!

Cancer Support
Excited to share that I’ve begun training in best practices for massage therapy with cancer survivors. I’m so grateful to Taos Health Systems Inc. Holy Cross Hospital and their Taos Cancer Support program for inviting me in to this powerful work.
