Scheduling Instructions / Frequently Asked Questions
What is your location?
Nepantla Bodyworks & Massage Therapy is located on the south side of Taos. The treatment office is in the casita behind Martinez Jewelers, between Maria’s Restaurant directly to the south and Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations directly to the north. We are on the same side of Paseo del Pueblo Sur as Starbucks and Walmart.
Please park to the left of the Jewelers, leaving as much room as possible for other vehicles. See our Contact & Location page for the map or any questions.
How much time should I give myself before an appointment?
Allow yourself to arrive in a relaxed state, with plenty of time to settle in to your session and maximize healing benefits.
Please try to arrive more than 5-10 minutes early. You may enter the casita, wait in the front room, and use the shared restroom in the hallway.
Please give yourself extra time to travel to and from the office. Many clients get turned around on their first visit. Even more time during challenging weather conditions.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellation must be done outside of a 12-hour window to avoid incurring a booking fee. Cancellations within a 12-hour window—including “No Shows” without notification—will incur a fee of 50 percent of the cost of your scheduled treatment.
What happens in the event of inclement weather?
Megan will notify clients of weather cancellations via their preferred method of contact 12 hours before their scheduled appointment. Every effort will be made to accomodate rescheduling at the earliest convenience.

Because I am accountable to the vulnerable populations I serve, I follow the strictest hygienic protocols. All of my treatment linens are double-sanitized for your protection.
Please contact me to cancel and reschedule your appointment at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled time if you are feeling ill. Per my cancellation policy, cancellation within 12 hours before your time will incur a booking fee of 50 percent of the cost of your scheduled treatment. Thank you for understanding; preserving massage therapist health is important too!
Sharing pathogens with the therapist can also endanger the vulnerable populations I serve without our consent or ability to combat the pathogens. Please communicate accordingly, resting assured that I will do the same.
I love giving the gift of massage therapy. You can purchase a gift certificate for a loved one by making a selection above.
I am able to serve my two main clients at lower rates (veterans, Taos cancer survivors) while supplementing those rates with massages and add-ons at the premium rate that you see. The business is transparent about a sliding scale / tiered pricing model, genuine product partnerships, and fair employment practices in massage therapy for Northern New Mexico.

“From the first time she worked on me, I knew I needed to keep her name close—Megan is someone you don’t want to forget. There are plenty of excellent massage therapists in town, but she’s one of those rare ones whose gift feels truly unique. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”
